Creature Escape:
The Creature Escape was the first game I published on the windows store and it achieved great success. The main idea for the game came from ‘Kirby’, which uses similar mechanics. It has a traditional multi-directional shooting game feature, which is a similar game play with games such as Geometry Wars. The game is simple and intended for all different types of gamers. It is designed to be as self-evident as possible and each aspect of the game focuses on the main mechanics of the game for simplicity purposes. It gets harder as you progress and as more enemy waves come.

Fear:
‘Fear’ is a horror game created using Unity3D game engine and C# programming language. The player begins the game in an empty, fairly dark room and has to search for a helpless girl. There will be various graphic images and very scary environments that are bound instill fear in the player like the graveyard scene that must be walked through in the search for the girl. I have tested the game using virtual reality through Oculus Rift to get a better result and a more graphic experience. It is very difficult to create a horror game with the right impressions to convey the feelings intended and so I have used different lightings, soundtracks and various sprites to achieve the desired results.

Fruit Smash:
This is another game I created in Unity3D game engine using C#. After playing the ‘Fruit Ninja’ game, I was very impressed with it and decided to make something similar, this was how I came about Fruit Smash. The game has limited functions, the player has to tap or click on the selected fruits to make them smash and get points; and points are also lost when the player fails to ‘smash’ selected fruits.

Startrek Tripper:
This was one of the games I created in my first year when flash games were still very much in trend. I used JavaScript to develop the game and it was a very simple as the game only had a few features and limited functions like score, health, collision with enemy, directional movements and the shooting function. It also has a bit of animation as color changes when one feature or another is used, there is also enemy movement animation and light flashes.

Irrlitch Engine 3D Game Scene C++:
I have created a game scene using C++ programming language and Irrlitch game engine. The game scene shows how many frames are run per second and there is also a count system in place that shows how many trees are in the character’s line of sight. I have also been able to add 3D sounds so that every time the character moves, the sounds of her footsteps can be heard. I ran this game scene in PCs of different standards (both high performance PCs and low performance PCs) to see how the frame per second rate on a high performing PC and also on a low performing PC to show how smoothly the game can run on whatever device.

SUSTApp:
SustApp also came to be as a result of the Sustainability PhD research project I was a part of. It is an application I designed using Windows App Studio and edited in Microsoft Visual Studio 2012. The application was designed to assist doctors/pharmacies and other drug purchasers to see which drug production companies were directly and actively involved in developing their immediate communities. So, when an individual goes on the application and decides to buy aspirin for example, he or she would see the different companies that produce the drug and their level of sustainability in community development areas and buy from those companies that are actively involved in improving their immediate environment. This would in turn encourage other production companies to do more for their communities.
SIMU (Senior Meet Up):
I created the SIMU website using html5 and designed it using CSS, I also used various features from twitter bootstrap. SIMU is a website that came as a result of a PhD project in Finland that I was a part of. It is intended to help the elderly between the ages of 50-70 improve their social lives. An individual can search for events that he or she is interested in and buy tickets to attend such events via the website if required. Also, an individual can access the website to advertise his or her own events like birthday parties and the likes.
