tudent showcase at Launch Future Gaming and Digital Conference (Students were invited to present to gaming industry professionals at LAUNCH Future Gaming and Digital Conference)

In April 2013, four of us Mahmud Chowdhury, Jake Nowak, Usman Mohammad and Arvin Parrenas from Birmingham City University game technology students were invited to Birmingham Science Park to present our games and I was one of them. We were given a 10-minute window to showcase the games we had created while in the university. We had the opportunity of furthering our own career and reputation as game developers by being invited to talk to ninety industry professional at the Launch Present Microsoft conference recounting our experience in the game development and highlighting how we see our careers develop. Professional developers and staff from gaming companies were allowed to test run our games and give us feedback on their experiences and opinions on how we can improve our games. I became more confident of my skills at this event as other professionals were really impressed with our games and the effort we had put into making them.
